The IEEE Circuits and Systems (CAS) is pleased to announce the 2012 IEEE International Conference on Circuits and Systems (ICCAS2012), which will be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on 3rd October 2012 to 5th October 2012.
The IEEE International Conference on Circuits and Systems is the foremost global forum for specialist presentations and interactions in the current and emerging areas of electronic circuits and systems. The meeting will provide opportunities of dissemination of information about latest technology to users, manufacturers, academics, and students working in the key area of circuits and systems. The conference offers 3 days of technical papers and educational events related to integrated circuits, including analog, digital, mixed signals, systems on a chip, data converters, memory, RF, communications, imagers, medical and MEMS and NEMS ICs.
Call for Papers
Authors are invited to submit original, unpublished papers on the following topics, but not limited to:
- Analog Circuits and Systems, Mixed Signals
- Systems on Chip (SoC), VLSI
- Digital Circuits and Systems, Memory Design, Testability
- Biomedical and Life Science
- Digital Signal Processing, CAD Tools, Image Processing, Visual Signal Processing
- MEMS and NEMS Technology
- RF and Communications
- Power Electronic Energy
All accepted papers will be indexed in IEEE Xplore
Paper Submission
Prospective authors are invited to submit full papers (IEEE Conference Paper format, up to 6 pages, in English), through online submission at the website (Please check for updates).
Double-blind reviews will be conducted by at least two independent reviewers. Authors of accepted paper will be notified by email. All accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings and IEEExplore.

Kuala Lumpur is the federal capital and most populous city in Malaysia.The city covering an area of 243 km2 (94 sq mi), has a population of 1.5 million as of 2010, and an estimate of 1.6 million as of 2012. Greater Kuala Lumpur, also known as the Klang Valley, is an urban agglomeration of 7.2 million. It is among the fastest growing metropolitan regions in the country, in terms of population and economy.
Kuala Lumpur is the seat of the Parliament of Malaysia. The city was once home to the executive and judicial branches of the federal government, but they have since moved to Putrajaya in the early 1999. Some sections of the judiciary still remains in the capital city of Kuala Lumpur. The official residence of the Malaysian King, the Istana Negara, is also situated in Kuala Lumpur. Rated as an alpha world city, Kuala Lumpur is the cultural, financial and economic centre of Malaysia due to its position as the capital as well as being a key city. Besides, Kuala Lumpur was ranked 48th among global cities by Foreign Policy's 2010 Global Cities Index and was ranked 67th among global cities for economic and social innovation by the 2thinknow Innovation Cities Index in 2010.
Since the 1990s, the city has played host to many international sporting, political and cultural events including the 1998 Commonwealth Games and the Formula One World Championship. In addition, Kuala Lumpur is home to the tallest twin buildings in the world, the Petronas Twin Tower, which have become an iconic symbol of Malaysia's futuristic developments.
